Great shop with lots of interesting items, owners are always helpful

my husband and I have been visiting this wonderful shop for quite a few years,we have to travel quite a way to browse,and browse we do,it has so many wonderful and interesting objects that we could spend hours just looking,usually we find something that we love and will continue to love for ever,the owners are always unfailingly courteous and kind whenever we visit and are quite happy to have us just look whether we buy or not

There’s some nice stuff there and reasonable prices but have to look for bargains. Staff are nice and friendly

We bought our wedding rings from Alan at Avanti Jewellers and we couldn’t be happier. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so friendly and their knowledge on diamonds and metals is second to none. There is never pressure to buy a more expensive piece, you are given all the time in the world. I adore my wedding ring, it is a beautiful platinum band with 12 diamonds (1 carat) and I love it more because Alan helped us every step of the way. My husband loves his too and again, everything he wanted (not too heavy, stylish, not matt etc etc) was spot on with his titanium band. Thanks Alan, I’ll be back every year to get it polished. :)

My daughter received a Christmas gift from her aunt that lives in the Orkneys ,, it wasn't really her taste so I contacted Avanti and a lovely lady called Stacey was absolutely brilliant ,we had no receipt and only a rough idea when it was purchased,,, Stacey was brilliant straight away she sorted everything out sending information and pictures till we picked an exchange nothing was too much trouble , Absolutely first class service I would definitely recommend you try these guys

I had a head and neck massage about two years ago, it was heaven! Sadly I live in the south so can't wait to return. This was certainly the most relaxing massage I have ever had, I was looked after and treated like a queen!

The BACK, FACE & SCALP TREATMENT is worth every penny. I have just had the most relaxing 85 minutes of my life (seriously). After welcoming me into a lovely warm candle lit treatment room, my therapist Amelia talked me through the various Espa oils she would be using a let me select my favourite scents. She started with a facial cleanse, followed by a fabulous back massage which took me right to the edge of my pain barrier, but not quite over it, and gradually worked out the tension in the back of my shoulders. A bowl of hot water with scented oil had been placed under the bed so I could inhale the calming vapours throughout the massage, which ended with hot stones. Then the full facial and scalp massage, with hair treatment, which I can't tell you much about because it was so relaxing it put me to sleep! The extended length of time allowed me to fully relax as it takes my mind a long time to fully unwind, overall a wonderful experience which I would recommend to anyone who is busy and stressed.

Just been in to the Halfords Ashbourne store after getting a puncture 20 miles from home, I’ve got to say I thought old fashioned customer service was a thing of the past but these guys went above and beyond to help me out I don’t normally leave reviews but these guys deserve a mention,if only everywhere was as helpful!! self service petrol station with four pumps can get very busy in mornings and evenings at prime times, there is also a very convenient mini market. a tyre pump and a £1 a time jet wash with outside lights. you can pay at pumps 24hrs and thats a plus. also there is a service garage attached to this petrol station and is very competitive on price.

Last night my family and I drove home back to Buxton form visiting friends in London. Our drive was around 7 hours due to traffic. I was low on petrol but knew I had enough to get home. Unfortunately, due to road works the A515 to Buxton was closed and I didn't have the fuel to drive via Leek. I was forced to drive back to Ashbourne in the hope there was a 24 hour petrol station. After speaking to a late night jogger she told me about Prestons. I was able to fuel up and get on my way. Big thanks to Prestons for the investment in self service /debit card pumps. We wouldn't have got home otherwise! Great work....

Was shocked when I opened the door to a gentleman asking me how my day is and how much I need. Amazing service a lot of places could learn from this service. Love it

Bare minimum there. Food is burger base only. No sands or chicken. Quite dear as well. It's a race circuit with no frills really. Was ok suppose but just.

The racing circuit is a great venue - both for motorbiking and cycling crit events. Plenty of parking onsite. Small cafe inside serves drinks and some food

Not overly inspiring. Have been in shop many times but it lacks something. Very big shop but lacks any welcome or interest- a bit clinical to me . I always end up over road at competition.

I went in last week to look at a coat and nothing was too much trouble for them. I bought one after I had tried on one or two. The assistant was honest enough to tell me that one coat was too small and to try a size larger. She was right too.

The clothes in here vary as they change the range frequently. Most of the time the clothes are quite nice and reasonable quality, though I think some of the prices are a bit steep. This shop is quite well stocked and holds children's, men's, women's and plus size clothing as well as some home items. The staff always seem to be friendly and helpful.

I think that Crew Deck is a very good shop. And I think that the clothes, hats and accessories are at a very good standard. However the prices are rather high, but you can leave he shop thinking that you have made a good purchase and a very good deal. Overall I think that I would recommend crew deck to all of my friends.

Love everything about this boutique. The staff a very knowledgable understand about body shape and style. If you are looking for a casual outfit or a full length gown pop and see them. Local parking and coffee shops make it a wonderful buying experience.

I was in the middle of editing Wedding photos for a client when my computer switched off and wouldn't power back on again. I spent around an hour searching google for help to no avail. So i called in to Code Red and explained my plight, the chap was very polite and helpful. As this was an urgent project I was working on he agreed to take a look at it straight away. within a couple of hours I received a phonecall explaining that the power supply had gone faulty. We agreed a price and the work was carried out and I picked up my machine the same afternoon. Very helpful, excellent communication, reasonably priced. Will definitely be calling here with any IT issues in future. Thanks for everything. John.

Marvelous little shop filled with beautiful bears and soft toys.

Since all the “nice” card shops started stocking the same stuff - this absolute gem of a place is my go to destination. Many designs created in house, there’s so much more than stationary on offer. Excellent customer service, a real personal touch, cannot recommend highly enough.

Lovely tea and sewing shop. Relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous afternoon teas, including a great gluten free option. You can even help complete various sewing and knitting projects for charity while you have your tea. Highly recommended!

Cycle hire on the Tissington Trail, which is a former railway line, so no real gradients and no traffic. Great place to take the family for a ride as they have a good range of bikes. There is a cafe by the cycle hire centre.

Stopped here twice on a Tissington Trail "there -n-backagin" and got a proper cup of tea out of a proper cup both times. Most welcome

This is a true hidden gem! A quirky little shop full to bursting with flowers, and all the things you need to make lovely arrangements. What I absolutely loved about this shop is that the flowers are all grown by the lovely owner Sheila. I have all but stopped buying flowers because of the environmental damage that can happen with imported flowers- but you can feel totally confident that Freedom Flowers are from the Peak District! This is a treasure- you simply must visit!

Came to a recent Christmas workshop here; it was lovely - really festive and I'm so pleased with what I made. Freedom Flowers is beautiful shop, there are lots of cute gifts and decorations as well as gorgeous flowers. Highly recommended. Wirksworth looks unbelievably Christmassy too, so if you want to immerse yourself in some festive magic, go and treat yourself to something lovely from this stylish local business.

I ordered flowers here today as I have done for birthdays and mother's day for many years. As always they delivered a beautiful bouquet and I just received a text from my step mum thanking me for the 'Glorious flowers" which she goes on to say are "stunning". Very nice ornate cafe, with a shop attached to it. Went in for lunch and had a cappuccino (with mini biscotti) and ham sandwich. Decent portion and good prices. We passed Ashbourne on our way back home.

Little cafe just of the market place; open before most of Ashbourne it would seem, serving really nice quality tea, free WiFi and soya milk. I couldn't have asked for more, well worth a visit. Deli looks good, too.

I was really impressed with the customer service from the guys at Mutant. My first order was over the phone and I was so impressed that this month I decided to drive down to Fenton and meet them in person. They were just as helpful in real life in the store and gave me a great deal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any level of bodybuilder or athlete!

This garden centre is lovely. They have a wide selection of plants and garden accessories. They also have varied other retail items, it's a great place to browse and buy fantastic gifts. They also have a fabulous restaurant with gorgeous food, especially their cakes. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

I like this place. If I could I would be there every day. You can find nearly every plant what you want for your garden. It's a family business and all members there are very nice and helpful. Sometimes it can be probably more expensive than the bigger companies but definitely you get healthy plants and if you need an advice you can ask and they help you.

Recently purchased a Mountfield petrol lawnmower from Owens. After being less than satisfied with other garden machinery centres and slightly misled by online shops, we took a look at Owens. So glad we did! Fantastic service, very competitive prices (even with online prices!) and such a friendly, helpful atmosphere. outstanding service from this shop where all the staff were welcoming and efficient. Shops in my home area had been unable to advise me about the replacement of the strap on a Rotary watch. None had been helpful but at Sellers the repair work to two Rotary watches was carried out speedily and cheaply If I have any watch problems in the future I shall head for Sellors at Ashbourne.

The member of staff who served me was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Their selection of boots were excellent, so good that I purchased 2 pair plus a really good pair of slippers. The shop has been tastefully revamped and inviting when you enter.

17th August I visited your shop to purchase a very large envelope. Unfortunately there was none big enough. The young assistant named Liam came to my rescue. After much debate he came up with the idea of using one of you large 5p carrier bags to cover my large parcel. He then proceeded to supply me with a sheet of white paper and some sellotape to secure the whole parcel - I then could go back to the post office to post parcel! I am 78 yrs old and it was very nice to meet a young, polite and very helpful youngster. Its a pity there aren't more of them about. I wish this youngster all the very best for his future - with his attitude he should go far.

Well stocked shop and staff usually very helpful. Handy and great opening hours - even a Sunday. Dogs allowed in too so thats even more convenient. Highly recommend on price too.

First time I've been to this branch - risk of car park flooding if heavy rain btw. Handy for bus stop but expect it would be difficult to park at high tourist season. Medium sized store and you might get a "cheers me duck" farewell at the checkout. Good place to stop and shop. Just checked Google Street view and the nasty building site in front of the store was until recently I nice green grass area. Next time I visit I hope it's not ruined.

It was completely ruined by the people that run it. What should have been a glorious wedding day in a truly stunning location, just being sort of hard going and not at all enjoyable. Which is a shame because the views are stunning, clearly is a nice place but it was completely completely disorganized, the tents were pretty boring and not very personal, the staff were not very nice, it was a baking hot day an no one had any water, everyone thought someone else would have it. Yeah we were pretty unimpressed. I will reiterate, the views were stunning, the location kind of couldn't be beaten.
